Are you eager to enhance your skills and knowledge in conservation research and education, while developing leadership capacity? Join our customised 8-week online training course for conservationists, offering experiential learning for digital platforms.
In 2022, UNM conducted the first “Leadership in Wildlife Conservation” online course. Our serious games were transformed into digital versions in which participants collaborate to tackle real-world scenarios in a virtual adventure world. Many of them reviewed that the training increased their confidence in becoming leaders in their profession.
Over 200 participants from 20 different countries in Asia and Africa have graduated from the Leadership in Wildlife Conservation Course since 2014, while 170 conservationists have benefitted from the online version.
Taking successful elements from that course, our Leadership in Environmental Education and Conservation Course is curated for aspiring environmental leaders to learn valuable strategies for engaging communities, creating effective educational programs, and implementing successful conservation initiatives.
